Behold, the Savior at your door,
Your kindest, truest friend,
Is seeking entrance to your heart,
Your life with His to blend.

The Savior’s knocking at your door,
And asking entrance in;
He’s knocking, asking o’er and o’er;
O open unto Him!

Oh, yes, the blessed Son of God,
through Lord of all above,
Now pauses at your lowly door
And speaks in tones of love.
